Every year deans cringe and students celebrate when their school is selected as one of the top 10. A top 10 ranking can actually help guide students either away from or to a school depending on its penchant for partying. For students currently attending schools, though, the party school list can be a curse in disguise. Students at many institutions have attested to an increase in regulation of parties and stepped up police presence after an appearance on the list.
