It’s that time of year again. So everyone get out your pencils, your study guides, your jerseys and your t-shirts and prepare once again for March Madness! This year’s field seems a little less controversial than in previous years. Most of the basketball intelligence seems fairly satisfied with the field and the seedings, save for a few malcontents.

This year the field is led by the Big East with three number one seeds, Pittsburgh, Louisville and Connecticut. Fun fact: the Big East started out as a strictly basketball conference. This year my money is on Louisville (I know it’s a risky proposition picking a number one seed).
