Apparently there’s been quite a stir recently over Kimberly Conrad, Hugh Hefner’s former (and technically current) wife. Conrad and Hef split up in 1998, but never actually divorced. The pair have two children together and Conrad has been living in a $7 million penthouse next door to the Playboy mansion for years, and apparently there’s word she might be moving back to the mansion.

Conrad is now 46, which means she’s entirely too old for the 75-year-old Hef. Hef is supposedly dating twins who are 19 or something to that effect. I guess everyone just wants to see Hef settle down. A while ago, USA Weekend did a story on Conrad where she spoke on the subject:

“The former Playmate of the Yearsays she and Hefner, 75, who have two young sons, still “love and adore each other very much … but we don’t date each other.”

Conrad says it was her decision to split in 1998. The reasons are personal but ‘it wasn’t because Hef was cheating on me, there were no other people involved our relationship.” So what about the seven girlfriends — all younger than 30 — with whom he’s involved now? ‘I’m very supportive of his lifestyle because that’s his business,’ Conrad says, and she now dates blues guitarist Jimmy Rip. Technically, Hef and Conrad are still married.”
