Rainforests are found across the globe and are the lungs of Mother Earth; they are home to almost half the species of animals found on the planet and also a wide variety of plants that have medicinal properties. Animals rainforest is a phrase that conjures up visions of jaguars, pythons, colorful birds and monkeys. Unfortunately, scientists have not been able to research and explore the majority of the rainforest plants to find all of the possible medicines and new species of plants and animals. Opinions differ on exactly how much rainforest is disappearing due to slash and burn farming techniques, but they are disappearing.
