The Commission on Presidential Debates released its finalized Presidential Debate Schedule and format for 2008. These debates will include both the presidential and vice presidential candidates. The commission is declaring the format ‘historic’ because it will allow for more direct free flow of conversation between the candidates.  There will be a total of three presidential debates and one vice presidential debate, all between September 26 and October 15, 2008.  The format will consist of questions and answers with closing statements.
