There is no end to our curiosity and the silliness that it can inspire. The Belgian cartoonist Peyo was aware of this human foible and knew that one day the question would arise - “How Tall Is A Smurf?”. So, he made it clear that his beloved characters are mostly male and just “three apples tall”. It would make them just about the most cute humanoid pets ever if such a thing was ever possible.
