Round Rock ISD has scheduled early release for all schools on Friday, Sept. 12 in order to alleviate the traffic congestion that is anticipated due to the arrival of evacuees from Hurricane Ike. The early release will also allow families to prepare for any possible severe weather conditions which may occur due to the hurricane. Elementary schools will be released at 12:45 p.m., middle schools will be released at 1:30 p.m. and high schools will be released at 2 p.m. Breakfast and lunch at all schools will be available to students before school is dismissed.
