Eric Carmen, singer/songwriter, was involved in a one car accident. Carmen lost control of his black 2008 Range Rover and struck a fire hydrant. He was taken to Bedford Heights jail where a breathalizer test found his blood alcohol level to be .234, almost three times Ohio’s BAC level of .08 percent. He was charged with failure to control his vehicle and DUI. There were no other passengers in the vehicle at the time of the accident. Carmen was released on a $500.00 personal recognizance bond.
