Bryan Clay was born in Texas but has been raised in Hawaii(born January 3, 1980 in Austin, Texas) and raised in Hawaii. He is an an American decathlete. Currently he is leading the pack at the halfway stage at the Beijing Games.

Bryan has an interesting ethnicity. He is part African American and also a third-generation Japanese American. Bryan’s personal best in the decathlon is 8832 points achieved during the 2008 US Olympic trials. Clay is 5′11″ tall and weighs 185 lb.
