The pilot killed in the single-engine airplane that crashed in a grocery store parking lot 30 miles south of Boston this morning was a Brookfield resident, according to the plane’s owner. The pilot was Joe Baker of Brookfield, according to Janet Keene, also of Brookfield, who told the News-Times she is the owner of the single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza that went down in a parking lot in Easton, Mass. this morning. Keene identified the aircraft to the News-Times as hers and said that Baker frequently flew the airplane for Angel Flight, which provides free air transportation to people who need to travel for medical treatment.
