More than 106,000 Chicago residents are without power Tuesday morning as emergency crews continue to clean up damage in the wake of severe thunderstorms and strong winds that hit the area Monday night. Commonwealth Edison has requested mutual aid from neighboring states, as well as its sister utility company in Philadelphia to assist in restoring the large number of outages, according to spokeswoman Kim Johnson.
